RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM MEKANIK PEMBATAS PENGGERAK SELING PADA PERANGKAT BRAKITERAPI DOSIS SEDANG ABSTRAK UNTUK KANKER SERVIK

A design and construction of wire drive  mechanical barrier system on the medium dose brachytherapy for cervical cancer has been done as a complete system for security of both mechanically and electrically during the operation of the device as a whole. The design and construction were carried out by paying attention to the length of wire dimensions, the diameter of the roller drum for wire, the process of wire rolling and delivery path length of the radioactive source or also the checker. The length dimension of wire or delivery path length with a diameter of drum rollers which is converted into 2 pieces of limiting the size of the circular line on the gear system is integrated with the limit switch/divider electrically. By
using this barrier the security and certainty of the wire rolling and delivery process are assured, either wire of radioactive sources or also wire of checker. The materials or components used are aluminum for gear system and limit switches for electrical systems. The result of the construction is
a set of equipment that is used to complete a safety facility operating on the wire drive module of medium dose brachytherapy for cervical cancer.

Rancang bangun sistem mekanik pembatas penggerak seling pada perangkat brakiterapi dosis sedang untuk kanker servik telah dilakukan sebagai kelengkapan sistem keamanan baik secara mekanik maupun secara elektrik pada saat beroperasinya perangkat secara keseluruhan. Rancang bangun ini dilakukan dengan memperhatikan dimensi panjang seling, diameter drum penggulung seling, proses penggulungan seling dan panjang lintasan penghantaran sumber radiokatif maupun checker. Dimensi panjang seling atau panjang lintasan penghantaran seling dikonversi dengan diameter drum penggulung menjadi ukuran lintasan lingkaran 2 buah pembatas pada sistem roda gigi yang terintegrasi dengan sistem limit switch/pembatas elektrik. Dengan menggunakan sistem pambatas ini dapat dijamin keamanan dan kepastian proses penggulungan dan penghantaran seling, baik itu seling sumber radioaktif maupun seling checker. Adapun bahan atau komponen yang digunakan adalah aluminium untuk sistem roda gigi dan limit switch untuk sistem elektrik. Dari pembuatan ini dihasilkan 1 set perangkat sistem pembatas yang digunakan untuk melengkapi fasilitas pengaman operasi pada modul penggerak seling perangkat brakiterapi dosis sedang untuk
kanker servik.
