Tantangan pengelolaan cagar budaya pasca Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 tentang Cipta Kerja

The issuance of Law Number 11 of 2020 which has been amended to become a Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation marks the entry of a new phase of investment and infrastructure development in Indonesia. The issuance of this regulation is a continuation of the government's efforts to accelerate and expand Indonesia's economic development. This new chapter raises a problem for the fate of cultural heritage preservation in Indonesia in the future, even though recently the government has just issued the latest regulations regarding cultural heritage preservation, namely Government Regulation Number 1 of 2022 concerning the National Register and Cultural Heritage Preservation. Based on these results, this study revealed phenomena indicating challenges in the management and protection of cultural heritage in facing the new era. The disclosure of this phenomenon was carried out through a normative juridical approach using secondary data in the form of literature studies. The analysis was carried out using the gap analysis method to measure the level of vulnerability of cultural heritage. The results of this study showed that the level of cultural heritage vulnerability according to the classification of cultural heritage types, i.e. low, medium, and high vulnerability. Based on this study, it is necessary to accelerate the determination of alleged objects of cultural heritage as cultural heritage as an initial step for protection and to encourage the birth of technical regulations that regulate impact studies on cultural heritage as one of the prerequisites for business licensing.
