Pollution of lead heavy metal (Pb) around the smelting of used batteries is very alarming and very risky for environmental health. The use of plants that have the ability to absorb lead needs to be applied by taking into account the condition of the landscape around the smelting. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of mitigation measures on the effects of lead contamination in the air. The results showed that the application of planting in landscape design proved that plants can be effective lead contamination control agents. This can be seen by the trend of increasing lead sorption value in the leaves of several types of plants applied. Flamboyant (Delonix regia) leaves (3.946,05 mg/kg) is the highest type of lead in plants when compared to others such as Pine (Pinus merkusii) leaves (2.062,14 mg/kg) and Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) leaves (910,68 mg/kg).
