The availability of seed sources for tungro-resistant rice crosses needs to be considered as one aspect of assembling tungro-resistant varieties. Improper storage conditions can cause a decrease during the seed storage period. The aim of this study was to examine the seed storage capacity of 25 rice varieties as sources of crosses for one-year storage period. This study was arranged using a completely randomized design repeated four times, if significantly different, the DMRT test was carried out and grouped using PCA Biplot. The sample measurement follows the ISTA standard. The results showed that 16 varieties had deteriorated, but Cigeulis and Towoti varieties had the best maximum growth potential with air content below 13% according to ISTA standards for one-year storage period. The group of varieties with the best growth potential were Cigeulis, Towoti, Tukad Tetanu, Ciherang, Tukad Balian, Situ Patenggang, Bondoyudo, Inpari 40 and Mekongga Varieties. Cibogo, Mekongga and Inpara 7 varieties have a high 1000 seed weight. The maximum growth potential was very significant and positively correlated with 1000 seed weight but showed a negative relationship pattern tendency to moisture of seed. The moisture of seed and weight of 1000 seeds have a weak correlation with a negative relationship pattern
