Abstract
An organization's image is everything. It is the image, or how society views the nature of the organization and its content that can assure success. A negative image perpetrated by the society can cause the same once prosperous entity to fail. The organization's image has the power to shape the positive perceptions of the organization. The same is true for the negative perceptions of an organization. It is a corollary relationship that can be detrimental to the organization's performance within the public and private realms, and potentially affects its bottom line.
The research presented in this thesis focuses on measuring the effectiveness of the broadcasting entity called internal TV and its agency based programming. The research will attempt to understand the influential nature the programming and the impact is has on the employee's perceptions of the agency. The program's content or programming, and how the agency markets the programming to its workforce, is questioned. The researcher attempts to determine how this archaic and traditional form of media still remains relevant. Relevance when employees have use of mobile devices, tablets and other forms of two-way communication applications or devices to acquire instantaneous information.
The study will be conducted using quantitative approaches. It will use survey to collect data showcasing employees' ideas, feelings and experiences. In all, it will ascertain data as to the effectiveness of internal TV network and its programs and provide insight as to how the employees have assessed the service.
