Abstract

ABSTRACT
STUDY OF TREATMENT ELECTROLYT WASTE GENERATED FROM ELECTROPOLISHING
DECONTAMINATION OF 304 STAINLESS STEEL BY THE SINERGY OF ELECTRO FILTRATION AND ION
EXCHANGE METHODS. The prelimanary design of treatment method of stainless steel 304 electropolishing
decontamination waste was done by sinergy of electrofiltration and ion exchange methods. The obyective of study to
reducing of cation soluted to minimazing concentrate and make simple in treatment conditioning. Sinergy process
mechanism occur in the electro membrane column filled of cation resin and it is placed in the PVC tube. The volume
space between part of column resin and part of pvc tube was divided and separated to become in 2 compartements as
electrode adjusted and possible only for an passing of ionic. The cation contaminants was captured by the resin and
will be realeased by leaching mechanism and it was high more impact of the electro diffusion. The result study is a unit
protipe of electrolyt waste treatment with mechanism sinergy of ion exchange and electro filtration.
