ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN RESIN PENUKAR ION PADA SISTEM AIR BEBAS MINERAL (GCA
01) RSG-GAS.Sistem Air Bebas Mineral (GCAOI) merupakan sistem yang berfungsi untuk mengolah air
baku menjadi air bebas mineral yang menggunakan unit resin penukar ion yang terdiri dari kolom resin
penukar kation, kolom resin penukar anion, dan kolom mixbed resin. Setelah beberapa waktu tertentu resin
penukar ion akan jenuh sehingga perlu dilakukan regenerasi terhadap resin penukar ion. Sistem Air 8ebas
Mineral (GCA 01) RSG-GAS dioperasikan tidak kontinyu dan sebagai indikasi kapan dilakukannya
regenerasi resin penukar ion pada Sistem Air 8ebas Mineral (GCA 01) RSG-GAS adalah apabila
konduktivitas air keluaran kolom resin penukar anion menunjukan 2:5!lS/cm. Telah dilakukan analisis
kemampuan resin penukar ion pada sistem air bebas mineral(GCA 01) jalur I. Analisis dilakukan dengan
jalan membandingkan waktu yang diperlukan dalam satu siklus pengoperasian sistem dari regenerasi ke
regenerasi selanjutnya selama kurun waktu tahun 2011 dan 2012 . Dari hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa
waktu dalam satu siklus regenerasi bervariasi . Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan resin penukar ion
pada sistem air be bas mineral(GCA 0 I) bervariasi tergantung pada kualitas air baku dan keberhasilan saat
dilakukan regenerasi terhadap resin penukar ion.

ANALYSIS OF ION-EXCHANGE RESIN CAPABILITY OF THE RSG-GAS DEMINERALIZED
WATER SYSTEM (GCA01). The Demineralized water system (GCAOl) is a system which is function to
process raw water to be demineralized water using ion exchange resin unit consisting of a column of cation exchange resins, anion exchange resin column and the column resin mixbed. After certain time,the ion exchange resins to be saturated so that is needed regeneration. The RSG-GAS demineralized water system (GCAOl) not operated continuously and indication of when does an ion exchange resin regeneration on The RSG-GAS demineralized water system (GCAOI) isJhe water conductivity from anion exchange resin column output indicates 2: 5J1Slcm. Analysis of capabilitty of the ion exchange resin demineralized water system (GCAOI) line I has been peiformed. The analysis was done by comparing the time required in the system operating cycle of regeneration to the next regeneration during the period 2011 and 2012. From the resultsof the analysis showed the cycle regeneration time is varies. This shows that ion exchange resin capability of the RSG-GAS demineralized water system (GCAOI)is varies depending on the raw water quality and success of the regeneration ion exchange resin.
