Jenis-jenis pohon di sekitar mata air dataran tinggi dan rendah (studi kasus Kabupaten Malang)

Watert source has e specific of vegetation type. The difference between high and lowland area can be described from their each vegetation. Research was located in water source area in Pujon as a sample high water source area and Singosari as water souce in lowland area. Explorative and descriptive methods were done in this research by doing encode of all trees wich founded around water source area in 200 m radius. Result were showed that in area water source trees wich found in large number are Dendrocalamus asper and Caliandra sp. Dendrocalamus asper has biggest Important Value Index, 38, 39 %, with diversity index 3,34. Different with water source in lowland area, trees that found in large number are Albizia falcataria, Cafea liberica, dan Swietenia macrophylla. The important values index for the three of trees are 9, 811 %, with Diversity index 5,37.
