Pengaruh kompetensi, motivasi, dan komunikasi dosen terhadap hasil pembelajaran praktik Sekolah Tinggi Multi Media Yogyakarta

This study aims to explain the lecturer’s competence, motivation, and communication towards practicum learning outcomes in School of Multi Media (STMM) Yogyakarta. The three independent variables, namely competence, motivation and communication of lecturers need attention in managing higher education institution. Through these variables, it is expected to grow the seriousness of lecturers in improving the practicum learning outcomes. This research relates to an explanation of competence, motivation and communication as predictors of the practicum learning outcomes. The research uses a quantitative approach, collecting data using questionnaires and the analytical tool used is quantitative in the form of multiple linear regression with a sample of 33 students of STMM Yogyakarta. The results of the study prove that competence, motivation and communication simultaneously have positive and significant effects on practicum learning outcomes of 85.40%, F-count 56.551 with a significance level of 0.05. Partially, the three variables have significant effects, the t-count is 2.277, the significance level is 0.030 for the competency variable (X1), 2.093 the significance level is 0.045 for motivation (X2) and 2.099 the significance level is 0.045 for communication (X3). Based on the research findings, it can be suggested that the management of this educational institution still pays attention to the competence, motivation and communication of lecturers. The continuous provision of competence, motivation and communication is intended to improve learning outcomes according to the goals of the institution.
